Yes, while baptism is not part of salvation, it is an important step of obedience to Christ. The Bible teaches that you should be baptized in water by immersion rather than by sprinkling. Because baptism is a picture of Christ’s death, burial, and resurrection, only immersion correctly pictures this. If you would like to talk to someone about being baptized or have additional questions, stop by the Next Steps display in the lobby this Sunday!
Every month Pastor and his wife Viola, teach a 4 week class on the basics of our church. This short class is a great way to learn more about what the church really is, what church membership is all about, our leadership structure, etc.
A great way is through our one-on-one discipleship program. This program features fourteen lessons that cover key Bible doctrines and personal applications, perfect for helping a new Christian become grounded in God's Word and develop a growing walk with Christ. Each lesson includes a straightforward outline with thorough support Scriptures. Each week includes daily devotions to encourage the new Christian to develop the habit of getting into God's Word.
Joining an Adult Bible Class (Sundays at 9:15am) or an Adult Small Group (Wednesdays at 11:00am and 7:00pm). These smaller groups settings give you an opportunity to build friendships, be strengthened in your faith, and encouraged in Christian life. They are a community of believers that genuinely care.
Some of our volunteers oppurtunities require church membership, while others just require you be a regular attender. All volunteers start with an application/interview to help find the best spot for them to serve. Kids and Youth Ministries also require a criminal background check for all volunteers.
